Radical Self-Compassion
Radical self-compassion is a profound act of healing. Sometimes our life experiences result in feelings of inadequacy that seem pervasive. Fear of losing those we love because of our imperfections. Fear of imperfect performance that leads to judgment or criticism. Radical self-compassion enables us to learn how to love and appreciate ourselves regardless of our imperfections. Radical self-compassion also helps us understand others and their imperfections when we extend compassion to them. Healing the human spirit is an extension of radical self-compassion. Our spirit, the very essence of who we are, needs nurturing and love. Radical self-acceptance is one of the tools we can use to provide the nurturing and love we all need.
